Description[]
Tall, brown skinned, locs done up in a braid. Green-grey eyes, black hair with a few strands of grey peeking in from the temples.
Personality[]
No nonsense, but does know how to smile. The light in her eyes dimmed when her beloved wife Malevolent was slain before her in their village. Ever since then she has sworn an oath of vengeance to take their life. She's a Paladin, but unafraid to get her hands dirty if need be. She's driven by doing what's right, and is willing to bend the rules to make sure justice is done.
Biography[]
Selise is of the Turami people, and while she has chosen the path of the Paladin, its one carved out of a need of Vengeance. She’s willing to do what she has to, to toe the line of what Tyr would allow to get things done.
Selise is fair but tough thanks to her upbringing and training. She joined the Order of Tyr later in life after a rival lord decimated her town and along with it, her beloved; Malevolent. Her departed lover was the towns scribe, almost the opposite of Selise in manner, dress and tone but they fit like peas in a pod.
Malevolent’s death spurred her into entering the service of her chosen deity, Tyr and to join the ranks of His Paladins. She’s driven by the tenets of Vengeance, and will right wrongs she sees among the people. Seeing the weak preyed upon, misused or abused is the fastest way to feel her blade.
She’s chosen to travel with these mages, sorcerers and the like to keep them from walking into danger with no real sense of how close they walk to death’s edge. They’ve also promised to help her find the rival lord that destroyed her world when she was younger and happy.
TL;DR - Grim, serious Paladin but walks the right path until she gets her vengeance. At that point? Who knows where Selise will wind up.

She was on a quest for vengeance against the one who slew her wife in front of her. She managed to extract her vengeance but it was a hollow victory. After facing off against Ziraj's daughter in their local tavern; Selise found she'd lost her connection to Tyr.
After a dark time where she walked the path of the Bloodhunter, she's rekindled her relationship with Tyr and has thrown off Bloodhunting for the way of the Ranger.
As she works towards redemption, she's content to travel with the other Rivals of Waterdeep.
